SUMMARY: The far-flung croatian islands of Mljet and Lastovo are of particular interest for nature lovers and slow-life seekers. Sparsely populated, with only a few little villages, largely covered by National and Marine Parks or ex-military areas – Mljet and even more Lastovo – are not well recognized by mass tourism and thus are so unique.
